I was contacted by my customer who wanted to have a special cake for his wife's birthday which reflected her love of gardening. I love making cakes like this (they appeal to my love of all things intricate and small) so here's a mini allotment, in the form of a chocolate cake :)

Rustic Buttercream Wedding Cake with Sugar Flowers

Liz and Ed got married at Casa in Brighouse which is a beautiful lakeside venue with a simply stunning function suite. They chose a rustic buttercream wedding cake adorned with sugar flowers in whites and ivories and a touch of pale green foliage. Displayed on our rustic log stump cake stand and then placed on a fabulous old vintage dresser.

Lion King 5th Birthday Cake

Here's a cake we created for Jeannie, a friend of my daughter, who turned 5 recently. She LOVES the Lion King, so we created a special Lion King cake for her. Totally edible, including the handmade Simba topper.

Three Tier Blossoms Wedding Cake

This cake created for Emma and Danny for their wedding at Pennine Manor Hotel, Huddersfield. The staff there are so helpful - it's a great place if you're looking for a wedding venue.

We created a three tier cake with a faux top tier, with each tier being covered in delicate ivory blossom applique. The separators were finished with ribbon to tie in with the couple's colour scheme and the whole cake was topped with edible characters of the bride and groom, made from modelling chocolate.

It's a Boy Baby Shower Tiered Cake

This cake was made for a longstanding friend of mine and her daughter who was due to have her first baby any day! With no definite theme, other than Sam was expecting a baby boy, we decided to go clean and simple with a bold spots and stripes design in a baby blue.
