This is is my kind of wedding cake - three tiers with crisp edges finished with sparkly lace and a sparkly brooch. Piped pearls on the middle tier add extra interest, while the roses to the top tier add a splash of colour.

Woodland Fairies Themed 4th Birthday Cake

This cake was created for the most important person in my life - my now 4 year old! When asked what she'd like for her cake, she replied "Fairies, and a fox, fighting!" I didn't give her the fairies and fox fighting and I only had time for one fairy, but this is a super improvement on what she's had before. Last year's pirate effort was hastily thrown together in about an hour!

She loves all things fairies, and loved her cake (thankfully!!). She's already thinking about next year though... EEK!
